Terms of Service
Last updated August 31, 2026
1. Who we are and what this service is
BuildLead Alerts is a subscription software service operated from Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. We aggregate, summarize, filter, and link to publicly posted procurement information from government agencies, districts, and public institutions. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. We do not issue solicitations
BuildLead Alerts is not a procurement authority, a government agency, or an agent of any agency. We do not issue, administer, amend, or award any solicitation. Every opportunity we display originates with the awarding agency, and we link to that agency's official posting.
3. No guarantee of completeness
We monitor a growing but incomplete set of public sources. We do not guarantee that every relevant solicitation, addendum, amendment, or cancellation is captured, nor that captured information is current, complete, or free of error. You remain responsible for monitoring the agencies you bid.
4. No guarantee of eligibility or award
Match scores, trade categories, and summaries are automated estimates produced in part by AI. They are not a determination of your eligibility. Prequalification, licensing, bonding capacity, insurance, set-aside status, and responsiveness are determined solely by the awarding agency. We do not guarantee that you will qualify for, be permitted to bid, or win any contract.
5. The official documents control
Where anything we display conflicts with the official solicitation, the official solicitation and its addenda control without exception. Always review the official solicitation and all addenda before submitting a bid.
6. Your account
You must provide accurate account and company information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for a single company. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape, or bulk-export our compiled data, summaries, or match scores.
7. Subscriptions and billing
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access to matched opportunity detail requires a paid monthly plan (Local, Pro, or Company). Plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation, refund, and proration terms are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms and is linked before checkout.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to violate law, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent access controls or plan limits, or use automated means to extract data beyond normal use of the interface.
9. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, or remove sources, features, and plan capabilities. We aim for reliable weekday delivery but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and scheduled ingestion or email delivery may be delayed or fail.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildLead Alerts is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost bids, missed deadlines, or bid preparation costs. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
You may cancel at any time from your account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination your access ends, though your preferences and account record are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Knox County, Tennessee.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date above. Material changes will be communicated to account holders. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Not legal advice
This page is a general description of the terms on which the service is offered. It is not legal advice and is not tailored to your circumstances. Consult your own attorney about your bidding and contracting obligations.
